The Vvaan Box Office Collection: Tamannaah Bhatia’s Film Likely to Miss the Top Spot

Must read

Mumbai [India], October 23: Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s fantasy thriller The Vvaan is nearing the end of its theatrical run, with the film likely to miss the opportunity to become Tamannaah Bhatia’s highest-grossing Bollywood film at the Indian box office. Despite a respectable run during its opening weeks, the film’s daily collections have slowed considerably.

Released on September 25, 2026, The Vvaan has reportedly collected ₹71.42 crore in India net earnings in 27 days. Its India gross collection stands at approximately ₹84.29 crore, according to trade estimates. The film earned only around ₹7 lakh on its fourth Wednesday, indicating that its theatrical run is approaching its final stage.

The Vvaan Falls Short of Tamannaah Bhatia’s Record

Tamannaah Bhatia’s highest-grossing Bollywood film in India remains Entertainment, which reportedly collected ₹72.02 crore net during its theatrical run. The Vvaan currently stands at ₹71.42 crore, leaving a gap of approximately ₹60 lakh to reach the top position.

Although the difference initially appeared achievable, the film’s declining daily earnings have made the target increasingly difficult. With new releases arriving in theatres on October 23, the fantasy thriller is expected to receive fewer shows, limiting its chances of adding substantial revenue.

At its current reported total, The Vvaan remains Tamannaah’s second-highest-grossing Bollywood film in India, ahead of Humshakals, which collected approximately ₹63.72 crore net, and Himmatwala, with around ₹47.45 crore net.

Week-Wise Box Office Performance

The film opened strongly, collecting approximately ₹54.86 crore net during its first week. Its second-week earnings stood at ₹12.20 crore, followed by ₹3.90 crore in the third week. Collections dropped sharply during the fourth week, with daily earnings remaining in the lakh range.

The decline suggests that the film struggled to maintain its initial momentum as its theatrical run progressed. Competition from other releases also affected its ability to sustain audience interest and improve its overall box-office total.

Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia Lead the Cast

Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, The Vvaan features Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead roles. The supporting cast includes Anup Soni, Sunil Grover, Shweta Tiwari and Maniesh Paul.

Produced by Ektaa Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Niraj Kothari and Arunabh Kumar, the film combines Indian folklore with fantasy, adventure and suspense. While it managed to secure a respectable theatrical collection, its slowing performance has reduced the likelihood of a late box-office surge.

With its domestic earnings approaching the ₹72 crore mark, The Vvaan is expected to finish its theatrical journey just below Tamannaah Bhatia’s existing Bollywood record. The final lifetime collection may vary slightly as the remaining shows conclude.
