The Paradise Box Office Day 6: Nani Scores First ₹100 Crore Film of His Career

Mumbai [India], September 30: Nani’s The Paradise has crossed the ₹100 crore mark in India within six days of its theatrical release, giving the actor a major box-office milestone. Directed by Srikanth Odela, the action drama has collected an estimated ₹101.50 crore net in India, while its worldwide gross has reached around ₹150.50 crore, according to trade figures reported on September 30.

The film opened in theatres on September 24 and recorded a strong start. According to trade figures cited by multiple reports, The Paradise earned ₹34.65 crore net on its first day, while its India net total after the opening day, including paid previews, stood at ₹46.25 crore. The film subsequently recorded ₹14.90 crore on Day 2, ₹15.25 crore on Day 3 and ₹15.70 crore on Day 4.

After the strong opening weekend, the film’s collections dropped during the weekdays. On Day 5, The Paradise collected around ₹5 crore net in India, taking its five-day India net total to approximately ₹97.10 crore. Its worldwide gross at that stage stood at around ₹145.59 crore, according to Koimoi’s trade-data report.

The film crossed the ₹100 crore India net milestone on Day 6. According to figures reported by NDTV citing Sacnilk, the movie collected ₹4.40 crore net on Tuesday across 5,772 tracked shows. This took its India net collection to ₹101.50 crore and India gross to approximately ₹120 crore. Its overseas gross stood at around ₹30.50 crore, taking the worldwide gross to ₹150.50 crore.

For Nani, the milestone is significant because The Paradise has become the first film of his career to cross ₹100 crore in India net collections. Earlier in his career, films such as HIT 3, Dasara, Eega and Saripodhaa Sanivaaram had crossed the ₹100 crore mark worldwide, according to Koimoi’s earlier box-office analysis.

The film has also been part of a strong year for Telugu cinema at the box office. Koimoi has described The Paradise as the fifth Telugu film of 2026 to enter the ₹100 crore worldwide club, while other reports have tracked the film among the year’s major Telugu grossers.

Directed by Srikanth Odela, The Paradise marks his second collaboration with Nani after Dasara. The film is set in 1980s Secunderabad and follows Jadal, played by Nani, as a marginalised community faces social discrimination and fights for basic rights. The cast also includes Raghav Juyal, Kayadu Lohar, Mohan Babu, Sonali Kulkarni and Sampoornesh Babu.

While the film has achieved the ₹100 crore India net milestone, its daily collections have shown a decline after the opening weekend. Trade reports have also noted mixed audience and critical responses. The film’s performance over the coming days will determine how its theatrical run develops beyond the first week.
