Udta Teer Box Office Collection Day 4: Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s Film Sees Sharp Monday Drop

Must read

Mumbai [India], October 27: Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s spy comedy Udta Teer has witnessed a sharp decline in box-office collections on its first Monday. After showing encouraging growth over the opening weekend, the film recorded an estimated ₹2.71 crore in India net collections on October 26, taking its four-day domestic total to ₹22.26 crore.

Directed by Akash A Kaushik, the film was released in theatres on October 23, 2026. Although its Saturday and Sunday collections improved considerably over its opening-day earnings, the Monday slowdown has raised questions about its ability to maintain momentum during the weekdays.

Udta Teer Day-Wise Box Office Collection

Udta Teer opened with an estimated ₹4.10 crore on Friday. The film gained momentum on Saturday, collecting approximately ₹7.25 crore, before reaching its highest single-day collection so far on Sunday with around ₹8.20 crore.

However, the film’s earnings dropped to approximately ₹2.71 crore on Monday, representing a decline of around 67% compared with Sunday. Its reported India net collection consequently reached ₹22.26 crore after four days.

These figures are trade estimates and may vary across box-office tracking platforms. The final reported figures could change as additional data becomes available.

Monday Drop Puts Weekday Performance in Focus

The first Monday is an important test for a film following its opening weekend. While Udta Teer benefited from increased collections over Saturday and Sunday, it will need to maintain a reasonable level of audience interest during the coming weekdays to build a stronger theatrical run.

Competition from other films and changing audience preferences could also influence its performance. The next few days will help determine whether the film can stabilise its collections or experience further declines.

What Is Udta Teer About?

Udta Teer follows a Pakistani intelligence agent who loses his memory during a mission and mistakenly believes that he is an Indian counter-terrorism officer. The resulting confusion leads to a series of comic situations involving espionage, mistaken identity and a cross-border mission.

The film marks the directorial debut of Akash A Kaushik, who has previously worked as a writer on Hindi films including Housefull 4, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan lead the cast, with Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Suhail Nayyar, Gulshan Grover, Raghubir Yadav and other actors appearing in supporting roles. The film is produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment.

Can Udta Teer Recover at the Box Office?

With its India net collection standing at an estimated ₹22.26 crore after four days, Udta Teer will need a steady weekday performance to strengthen its overall box-office position. A recovery later in the week could help it build on the gains made during its opening weekend.

For now, the sharp Monday decline remains the key talking point surrounding the film. Its performance over the next several days will offer a clearer indication of its commercial prospects.
